Nestlé Good Life Program

People are the heart of Nestlé. From our consumers and customers to our employees and business partners, Nestlé realises how important it is to make a positive difference in the communities in which we live and work. As a result, we have developed the Nestlé Good Life Program that supports and contributes to the welfare of New Zealanders, helping to improve their quality of life.

The Nestlé Good Life Program is a group of community programs covering a wide diversity of activity and interest in areas of sport, health, education, arts and recreation. The goal is to help people  to be the best they can be.

Some of the Nestlé Good Life Programs have been running for over two decades. Some provide essential support for well-known New Zealand organisations and institutions, while others have been created and funded by Nestlé to meet specific community needs. To learn more, click on the topics listed on the left hand bar.

As a contribution from our staff, each Nestlé employee has the opportunity to spend a paid day each year working in the community as part of the Nestlé Community Volunteer Scheme.
Nestlé New Zealand has long-term commitments to its partner organisations in the Nestlé Good Life Program and is therefore not accepting submissions from other organisations for funding at this time.

Nestlé Global – Creating Shared Value

For a business to be successful in the long term it has to create value, not only for its shareholders but also for society. We call this Creating Shared Value. It is not philanthropy or an add-on, but a fundamental part of our business strategy.

Simply stated, in order to create value for our shareholders and our company, we need to create value for the people in the countries where we are present - farmers who supply to us, our employees, our consumers and the communities where we operate.
