Satay Chicken Sausage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets flaky pastry
  • 1 packet MAGGI Satay Sauce Mix
  • 3 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder
  • 16 fresh chicken sausages
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 220oC.
  2. Cut each pastry sheet into quarters to make 16 squares.
  3. Make satay sauce following packet directions.  Stir in coconut milk powder.  Spread a teaspoon of sauce along the bottom of each pastry square, 1cm in from the bottom edge.
  4. Place a sausage on top of sauce.  Roll up.  Cut each roll in half and place with seam down on an oven tray.  Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden.
