Beef Goulash

Beef Goulash

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS

 

1 Tbsp oil
750 g rump steak, cubed
1 onion, chopped
1 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp cornflour
375mL can CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk
1 tsp MAGGI Beef Stock
salt & pepper
1 red capsicum, chopped
2 Tbsp tomato paste

METHOD

 

  1. Heat oil in frying pan. Add beef, brown well, remove from pan.
  2. Add onion to pan, cook 2 minutes.
  3. Add combined paprika, cornflour, CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk, stock powder and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Bring to boil stirring, return beef to pan with capsicum and tomato paste, simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans.
