Beef Tortilla Wraps

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 400 g lean minced beef
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 packet MAGGI Brown Onion Gravy Mix
  • 1/4 cup water, approximately
  • 400g can tomatoes in juice, chopped
  • 8 flour tortillas, heated
  • grated cheese
  • chopped tomatoes
  • sliced lettuce

Method

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan.  Add beef, cook stirring until browned.
  2. Stir in spices.  Combine gravy mix, water, tomatoes and juice and add to the pan.  Bring to the boil stirring, simmer for 15 minutes or until mixture becomes a thick sauce.  Stir occasionally, adding extra water if neccessary.
  3. To serve; place a strip of meat mixture along each tortilla, 3cm from the edge, top with grated cheese, tomatoes and lettuce.
  4. Roll up firmly, folding in the sides.
