4. Take in their mail.
5. Ask for some advice on gardening or car maintenance.
6. Invite their kids to play with your children.
7. Take them flowers from your garden.
8. Take them a freshly caught fish.
9. Offer to feed their cat when they're away.
10. Going to the rubbish dump? See if they want to add anything to save them a trip to the tip.
11. Ask if they'll let your kids wash their car - for a $5 donation.
12. Get their sponsorship for your charity/school fund raising event.
