These morning bites have whole grains and yummy flavour. Pair them with a glass of milk and a piece of fresh fruit for a convenient morning bite on the run.

Ingredients • Makes: 12
Spray oil
1 cup rolled oats
2⁄3 cup wholemeal flour
1⁄3 cup honey
1⁄2 cup dried fruit (sultanas, chopped
apricots, raisins etc)
1⁄4 cup margarine, (melted) or oil
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
How to make:
- Preheat oven to 160°C.
- Lightly grease 18x28cm brownie tin
with spray oil and line with baking paper. - Place remaining ingredients in a large
bowl then stir in melted margarine/oil. - Mix until well combined (mixture will
be crumbly). - Pour into baking tin and press down
until tightly packed. - Bake for 20 minutes or until edges
are browned. - Cool completely and cut into squares
or muesli bar size.
