About Nestlé Cook for Life

At Nestlé, we believe good food is part of a good, healthy and happy life. We know that making small changes to what we eat and how we cook can make a big difference to quality of life, especially in young adults who are developing formative lifelong habits.

That's why we launched the Nestlé Cook for Life, Ka Tunu Ka Ora programme in 2011 as part of our commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals "Good Health and Wellbeing".

The Cook for Life programme aims to provide youth aged 13 to 19 with nutrition education and core cooking skills in a fun and supportive environment. Through participation in the programme, the youth are empowered to make healthy food choices, influence their family and friends to lead healthier lives, and ultimately enrich the wellbeing of their communities. Over time, these impacts are intended to address some of New Zealand's increasingly prevalent diet-related diseases.
