KitKat is making New Zealand’s summer even sweeter this year by partnering with the iconic Mr Whippy ice cream trucks to mark the launch of KitKat Neapolitan. Kiwis can enjoy FREE* soft serve ice cream and a KitKat Neapolitan finger to celebrate.
Inspired by the classic ice cream flavour trio, KitKat Neapolitan has been created to evoke a sense of nostalgia. With its creamy vanilla and sweet strawberry flavours, complemented by a smooth milk chocolate base and the signature crispy KitKat wafer, it’s a whole new way to experience Neapolitan.
The KitKat x Mr Whippy collaboration lets Kiwis taste KitKat Neapolitan the way it’s intended – as everyone’s favourite nostalgic summer treat. The collaboration will see an iconic Mr Whippy truck taken over by Neapolitan colours and swirls and transported to busy parks and beaches – like Kohimarama and Western Springs - across Auckland from Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February. Kiwis will have the chance to try the delicious KitKat Neapolitan ice-cream flavoured wafers in a classic vanilla soft serve for FREE*.
Nestlé Head of Marketing New Zealand, Fern Castellanos said, “Chocolate lovers are in for a treat this summer with the launch of KitKat Neapolitan – it's a trifecta of taste! With this new smooth chocolate featuring classic ice-cream flavours, Mr Whippy was the perfect partner to bring this delicious trio to summer ice cream moments. We have no doubt Kiwi ice cream lovers will adore this new take on Neapolitan.”
Available at all major retailers in block and bar formats from late-February, KitKat Neapolitan is sure to serve up a delight for the senses and bring back memories of cherished summer moments at the beach. KitKat Neapolitan Block RRP $5.30 and 4-finger bar RRP $2.40.
