Nescafé has today announced a new partnership with the Kindness Collective, a nationwide charity that spreads kindness by connecting Kiwis and their families with the things they need - from everyday essentials to moments of joy. The three-year partnership aims to create meaningful connections with communities across New Zealand.

The partnership will see Nescafé Classic included in the charity’s food boxes for their Everyday Essentials programme distributed to over 162 community partners across New Zealand— including NZ Police, hospitals, health services, social services and Iwi organisations.

It will also enable Nescafé to support the Kindness Collective Christmas Joy Store, an initiative that has, for the past four years, delivered toys and treats to over 42,000 Kiwi children in need. In addition, the partnership with Nescafé enables food bank contributions, coffee for community events, and daily supply of essentials to social housing, hospitals and front-line workers.

Nestlé Head of Marketing New Zealand Fern Castellanos said, “We admire the work the Kindness Collective does to deliver better community outcomes across Aotearoa.”

“Through coffee connection moments, Nescafé aims to uplift lives and livelihoods with every cup. Helping Kiwis and their families every day, we are proud to enter into partnership with the Kindness Collective who embody this mission.”

The Kindness Collective Founder and Chief Executive Sarah Page said, “We're absolutely thrilled to welcome Nescafé Classic to our community. We see first hand how small acts of kindness can make a difference in someone's day. The addition of Nescafé Classic coffee to our food boxes, Christmas Joy Store and community events is fantastic because for many, coffee is a luxury they wouldn't normally be able to afford. It's not just a drink, it's a moment of comfort, social connection and a reminder that someone cares."
