Everyone loves a side of chips or wedges. They often contain lots of fat from the deep frying process. This version is oven baked and just as delicious; but without much added fat. Try them with kumara for a delicious change.

Ingredients • Serves: 6

1 kg potatoes; or 6 large potatoes
Cooking spray e.g. canola or rice bran
1 teaspoon MAGGI Vegetable Stock
Powder
Fresh chopped parsley to garnish

How to make:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Cut potatoes into wedges and arrange in a single layer on
    prepared oven tray.
  3. Spray with oil and sprinkle with MAGGI Vegetable Stock Powder
    or dried herbs and
    spices of your choice (e.g. thyme, paprika).
  4. Bake in oven for 30 – 40 minutes or until brown and crispy.
  5. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley, with natural low fat yoghurt
    and a swirl
    of sweet chilli sauce. Oven baked wedges can accompany
    most meals.
