Starbucks iced coffee is hitting the shelves, bringing consumers the unique Starbucks signature taste in a convenient on-the-go format.
The range includes two of the most iconic Starbucks ranges - Starbucks Frappuccino, a delicious, perfectly blended coffee with creamy milk and just the right amount of sweetness, created for moments of “me time” as well as Starbucks Doubleshot, featuring our loved signature coffee blend with a double shot of coffee for when one isn’t enough.
The new Starbucks Frappuccino iced coffee range is the result of a collaboration between Nestlé and Starbucks. Nestlé will exclusively market, distribute and develop the Starbucks ready-to-drink coffee beverages in New Zealand, leveraging its local footprint and distribution.
Nestlé New Zealand Head of Marketing Fern Castellanos said, “Through this new collaboration, Nestlé and Starbucks are bringing New Zealanders the signature taste of Starbucks coffee in an easy, ready-to-drink format.
“These new products will enable us to grow our younger consumer segment, with a tailored and new beverage offering. We are confident Kiwi coffee lovers will love these products in the summer months when a cold beverage is perfect for on-the-go.”
Ready-to-drink coffee is a fast-growing category in New Zealand and Starbucks will continue to develop a strong innovation pipeline to further grow the category.
Starbucks Frappuccino is available in 280mL bottles for RRP $4.50
Starbucks Doubleshot is available in 220 mL cans for RRP $4.00
The Starbucks ready-to-drink beverages will be available to purchase in Countdown, New World, PAK’nSAVE, Z and BP.
